Premier League
📝 Analysis
Manchester City enters this clash as heavy favorites, sitting comfortably in 2nd place and continuing their pursuit of another Premier League title. Pep Guardiola’s side has been dominant, winning their last four league matches, including a disciplined 1-0 victory over Leeds United. Erling Haaland remains a constant threat, but the emergence of Antoine Semenyo, who has four goals in his last ten appearances, provides City with even more attacking depth.
Nottingham Forest, meanwhile, is struggling at the opposite end of the table. Currently 17th, they have suffered successive defeats, most recently a 2-1 loss to Brighton. Statistically, the mountain is steep for Forest; they have lost six of their last eight meetings with City. While Morgan Gibbs-White remains their primary creative spark, a defensive unit conceding an average of 1.5 goals per match will struggle to contain a City side that averages over 60% possession and nearly 15 attempts per game at home.
